Critics Consensus

In attempting to meld his successful previous formulas with philosophical musings, Guy Ritchie has produced an incoherent misfire.

Ana Valeria G Masterpiece, one of the best films from Ritchie. Great performances and the character development is exquisite. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/03/24 Full Review Scott W Richie tries to bring home a deeply thoughtful and mysterious epic... in the vein of Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut. He fails. The script simply doesn't deliver on its very big promises. Liotta is pretty good in spots. Statham is not. Waste of time Rated 1.5/5 Stars • Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/21/24 Full Review 시우 이 It is difficult to understand, but as you watch it, you fall deeply into their acting and meaning. Interesting directing is a bonus Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/28/24 Full Review Polina N After watching the movie Revolver , I want to write a review. The budget is € 20 millions. Year of release 2005 . Directed by Guy Ritchie. The film was shot in UK and France. The genre of the film is thriller and action movie. The plot centers There is Jake Green, played by Jason Statham, a street gambler who, after serving in prison, realizes that he still does not know anything about the real game in life. He enters into a deadly game with two sinister card dealers to avenge the humiliations and losses inflicted on him. One of the main themes of the film is the power of psychology, overcoming one's own fears and destroying one's ego.The acting is very powerful. I really liked the acting, I especially want to note the performance of Jason Statham, He managed to convey the whole atmosphere of his character. I would also like to note the acting of Mark Strong, Who was ideally suited for the role of a Sorter. The special effects are very good and harmonious. I really liked the movie. It’s not boring and has an interesting script. This film makes us think. I recommend this movie to watch. But you need to watch the movie revolver very carefully and pay attention to small details. I advise you to watch it! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/23/24 Full Review Gareth M What an absolute waste of time. Convoluted, pretentious and ambiguous.
